Orthotech Ltd. was founded in 1991. Its main profile is to provide children with scoliosis (Scoliosis, Scheuermann disease) and people with injured vertebrae with corsets of polyethylene.
Many people were saved from an operation on their spinal column by the use of correcting corsets. Among the results of Orthotech Ltd it is not rare a 30 - 40 % improvement of the scoliosis. The National Health Insurance finances most of the products manufactured, adopted and distributed by Orthotech Ltd. The firm is one of the founders of the Hungarian Association of Orthopaedists. They own a building the basic area of which is 200 m2.
